On May 29, 2020, the etnews reported that DID Alliance will launch GADI, Global Association for Digital Identity, with global partners in July. GADI will support the Alliance in its effort to develop technology standards, programs and systems and support the development of Blockchain-based Distributed Identity (DID) technologies and services with cross-ledger transaction, enabling interoperability between heterogeneous networks.
